Cooking Class - Healthy "Street" Food

What You’ll Do

Learn how to made some of your favorite street food with a healthy twist.

Food from an outdoor vendor is some of the most comforting food on earth, and in this class you’ll learn how to make healthy versions of the classics. Chef Jillian has years of culinary experience and will teach you her best tips and tricks to making street food dishes the healthy way.

First, you’ll learn to make a healthy version of the Montreal classic--poutine. Chef Jillian’s version is made with root vegetables and served with wild mushrooms, homemade gravy, and of course, cheese curds. Next, you will learn how to made a quinoa burger slider topped with delicate bibb lettuce, avocado, and a smoky chipotle aioli. Top it all off with a fresh watermelon basil fruit slushy, and you have a healthy meal that hits all the right notes.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
