Cooking Class - Empanada Making

Learn the secrets behind making delicious homemade empanadas with Chef Jillian

Join Chef Jillian as she teaches you how to create three different varieties of empanadas, a culinary staple of South American cuisine. Chef Jillian’s Argentine background and years of professional culinary experience make her a master in the craft of cooking up perfect empanadas. Of the four empanada filling options, you will have your choice of two.

You will begin by learning how to make a traditional Argentine empanada stuffed with savory beef and a pop of green olives. Next up is a vegetarian empanada with curry sweet potatoes, pinto beans, crisp corn, and a fresh lime cilantro aioli. The third empanada you’ll make will be stuffed with a spicy peach pork shoulder and pickles. Finally, harissa chicken and green pimento olives will be the last filling you may choose from, all of which will be served with saffron rice and Spanish pickles.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
