Add a few new recipes to your culinary repertoire at this vegetarian cooking class full of hearty Italian specialties.Chef June has been cooking professionally for over 30 years and is a master of making meals that are healthy, fun, and irresistible.
First, you will learn how to make Chef June’s famous purple pizza with a crust made from Native American purple corn, topped with a from-scratch sauce and fresh mozzarella. Then, it’s on to pasta with gnocchi á la romana made with semolina and combined with your choice of savory sauteed mushrooms or butternut squash and fragrant sage butter. Next, Chef June will teach you her method of making the perfect braised garlic greens. Finally, satisfy your sweet tooth with chocolatey gluten-free brownie muffins and you choice of coffee or tea.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef June has worked for stars from Judith Krantz to Elizabeth Taylor and her stories are nearly as delicious as her food. Inventor of the(delicious) ‘purple pizza’ Chef June quickly and easily puts together healthy dishes that are so tasty and so simple you will want to repeat them over and over at home. Her ‘Green’ dressing is so delicious I could drink it and her tender macaroons melt in your mouth.

I am a private health chef with a focus on purple foods. I was inspired at an early age by Cuisine Minceur - early French Spa cuisine - and have taken it to the highest level by incorporating purple plant foods in addition to other Functional ingredients. I have worked for over 30 years as a private chef to celebrity and corporate clientele. In 2014 I created a purple pizza crust made with Native American purple corn - a New York crust with a boost of added flavor and function!
