Learn to make mouth-watering Morrocan tagine from a master
Chef Tony will share tales of his travels while teaching you to prepare a delicious dip of home-smoked celery root with white beans and roasted garlic. Next learn to make a tangy marquee watermelon gazpacho and a Moroccan Country Salad (with bell peppers of different colors and tomatoes). Lastly Chef Tony will talk you through the steps to make a tasty tagine using either baby eggplants OR sustainable swordfish (both served with couscous).
Note: All lessons include a 15 minute lesson on knife skills.
Guests are welcome to bring beer or wine to enjoy with your meal.

I have had a very varied life. I started out as a professional motorcyclist. Then worked as a journalist in Africa and Latin America for over 20 years reporting for the BBC, Guardian (England), New York Times, and AP (among others). I have visited more than 50 countries through my work with the Economic Policy Institute. I started doing cooking classes and catering 6 years ago and now supply foods to co-ops and food companies including Tacoma Park and Relay.
