Cooking Class - Classic Chinese Cuisine
Chinese cuisine is as much about heritage as it is about the meal itself. Having grown up in Shanghai, Chef Grace not only perfected her skills as a gourmet, but was heavily influenced by her country’s rich culture, which fostered her love of cooking.
The class begins with a quick lecture on Chinese culture presented by Chef Grace. Begin your journey by learning to prepare succulent tofu meatball stuffed with shiitake mushroom for added flavor, along with crispy black wood ear mushrooms. For your second course, you will create a delectable hot and sour soup with bamboo, egg, mushroom, pork, and homemade stock that is sure to satisfy again and again! Complete your gourmet travels by learning to cook up an amazing stir-fried dish.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
