Cooking Class - Gourmet Biscotti

What You’ll Do

Learn the techniques to baking perfect biscotti.

During this class, Chef Traci will teach you how to make classic Italian biscotti, delectably crispy treats that beg to be nibbled alongside or dunked into hot coffee.

Chef Traci will guide you with hands-on instruction, exploring traditional flavors like chocolate hazelnut as well as surprising combinations like anise, orange, and hazelnut. You’ll customize biscotti to take home by selecting your choice of mix-ins and sprinkling and drizzling on toppings such as shredded coconut and melted chocolate. Take home half a dozen dipped biscotti, plus a dozen more to freeze and enjoy later! As a bonus, this class is allergy friendly as biscotti are both dairy and gluten-free.

This class is hosted in a state-of-the-art chef's kitchen with an adjoining spacious dining room in a restored 1910 arts and crafts home.

Chef Traci's cooking class was an absolute blast! Her home in Berkeley is so spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. I really love Chef Traci's personality and energy. You can tell she is very passionate about cooking and creating beautiful meals with different spices. The chicken tagine was SO flavorful and delicious. To this day, my boyfriend still talks about it! I am looking forward to Chef Traci's next class.

Our team had a great time with Chef Traci! We were all pretty shy about our cooking skills but she made us feel comfortable and empowered that we could make a great meal! Traci was very accommodating and flexible and fun! Highly recommend!

Chef Traci was wonderful and very welcoming. The house and kitchen were cozy, warm, and beautiful. We even got to make and take home our own spice mixture to replicate the meal later in our own kitchens. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time learning and making dinner together. Chef Traci was also great about getting Halal meat for the dinner and in making a vegetarian version for one of our staff members who didn't eat meat. Thanks for a great experience Chef Traci!
