In this informative cooking class, Chef Faramarz will share with you the traditions and techniques of classic Persian cuisine as it pertains to preparing lamb shank and a variety of traditional side dishes.
In addition to the main lamb dish, you'll learn to expertly prepare the customary fava bean rice, a vibrant mix of long grain rice, tender fava beans, and golden-hued saffron, as well as a vivid and tangy homemade beet yogurt and barley soup. Both the rice and the yogurt provide balance to the richness of the lamb and work equally well with other proteins.
