Brunch gets an unexpected twist in Chef Teena’s vegetarian three-course class.
Try something totally out of the ordinary with Chef Teena, whose unexpected and unusual brunch class will leave you both sated and inspired. Chef Teena brings many years of experience and a flair for combining exotic flavors to the kitchen to offer engaging cooking classes.
This class begins with a fragrant curried tofu scramble. Next, you’ll learn to cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, including besan pooras and masaladhar aloo. The meal is rounded out with a sweet course showcasing sooji ka halwa, a classic Indian dessert with fresh berries and nuts.

Chef Teena began her culinary journey working in family owned restaurants. She has over 20 years of experience in the food industry and has taught all over the Bay Area, including at Stanford and with Whole Foods. She strives to empower others to cook vegetarian food at home and always makes cooking experiences memorable, fun and educational. Chef Teena enjoys making balanced, nutritious, seasonal cuisine that showcases natural and robust flavors with the breadth of the Indian spice pantry.
