Tapas are beloved Spanish small plates. And Chef John, who is dedicated to traveling the world to learn more about cuisine, will show how to make tapas in your own home.
You’ll start with asparagus tip salad, continue with jamon Iberico before moving onto croquetas, gambas al ajillo (shrimp) and finish with decadent olive oil cake.

Meet your chef
As a youngster, Chef John would skip school to make tomato soup and grilled cheese from scratch at home. Decades later, his passion for fresh food is just as strong as it ever was. He headed to college where he befriended and learned from chefs from the Caribbean, Southwest, Mexico and the South. Today, he travels to the Southwest and the South to discover new and exciting cooking techniques.
