Foodwise, the holidays and brunch have the best things in common: the meals start later in the day, and every dish is insanely rich and luxurious. Join Chef John for a not-so-lazy holiday brunch cooking class, where you’ll learn how to prepare delightfully intoxicating late afternoon seasonal food such as a mushroom pancetta strata, a sweet potato smoked salmon hash—and, in case you were worried, yes, there will be Bloody Marys. Come to make a morning holiday fare, stay to eat a lovely brunch you’ve created.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
As a youngster, Chef John would skip school to make tomato soup and grilled cheese from scratch at home. Decades later, his passion for fresh food is just as strong as it ever was. He headed to college where he befriended and learned from chefs from the Caribbean, Southwest, Mexico and the South. Today, he travels to the Southwest and the South to discover new and exciting cooking techniques.
