What You’ll Do

Make your own gelato from scratch!

Just what is the difference between ice cream and gelato, anyway? Learn this and much more from Chef Simone, who will start by giving you some background on the history of the sweet treat, then show you how to make the Italian favorite yourself. You’ll get to make either strawberry sorbet, lemon sorbet, banana sorbet, chocolate, ricotta and vanilla, then take seven pints of it back to your freezer at home. By the end of class, you’ll have worked with Chef Simone (and, on occasion, his partner Chef Francesca) to unravel the mystery of creating gelato from scratch.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Who knew making gelato could be so much fun?! My best friend and I had such a blast with Chef Simone. We learned so much about the history of gelato and how it's made. Chef Simone's class is perfect for one-on-ones with your best friend or significant other!

We had a great time in the class! Chef Simone explained the process of gelato making thoroughly and made the class really entertaining! Every flavor was beyond delicious! Be prepared to take home lots of gelato! SO worth it!
