Cooking Class - Homemade Sushi and Tempura

What You’ll Do

Learn to make two take-out favorites at home.

Sushi is the perfect subject for a cooking class because a few tips and tricks can really make a difference. In this class, you'll handcraft favorites like a spicy tuna roll plus you'll learn how to prepare batter for vegetable tempura at home. As a bonus, you'll learn how to make a refreshing yuzu and mint soda that pairs perfectly with your sushi creations.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

After pursuing culinary school and retiring from teaching, Chef Karen became a chef instructor in 2019. Promoted to Culinary Lead in 2020, she continued to excel, recently stepping into the role of Resident Chef. Working as a Chef Instructor has rekindled her passion for food and sharing culinary knowledge with every guest she meets.
