In this African fusion cooking class, Chef Afia will teach you how she combines healthy, organic, Californian cooking ideals with traditional West African dishes to create her own fantastic meals.
You'll learn to cook plantains sautéed in coconut oil, a wholesome side that is paleo and gluten free. Chef Afia will also show you how to cook shrimp and salmon and serve them artfully with seasonal organic produce marinated in citrus, herbs, and olive oil. Her beautiful home is eclectic and welcoming and adds tremendously to the experience.
