Summer cooking classes are a wonderful way to spend spare time, develop new skills, explore culinary creativity and foster a lifetime love of cooking. Students will take home a printed menu and a graduation certificate to celebrate their success.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. We felt the overall class went well. My only complain would be for the price we paid per person, I was surprised we had to work as teams of 4. The cost of class was enough to cover ingredients for each person and not have to share with three other people.

Chef L. J was great. Making macarons is very complex, and while it was a bit rushed at times and hard to follow the instructions, we were still able to finish in about 3 hours.
