Young chefs build a foundation in the art of baking in this five-day series
This hands-on five-day cooking series designed for aspiring chefs ages 7-11 focuses on all things baking. From flipping crêpes and kneading dough to baking and decorating cakes, young bakers will learn essential baking techniques, basic food preparation skills and kitchen safety guidelines. Summer cooking classes encourage students to work together each day to take on exciting new bakes, building confidence and inspiring creativity in the kitchen. At the end of the series, each student will take home a printed menu and graduation certificate to celebrate their new skills.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Wonderful experience! Molly was informative, knowledgeable and very approachable. As a better than average cook I can say that I learned a trick or two! It was a fun and enjoyable few hours.
