Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Baking Fundamentals - Ann Arbor

What You’ll Do

A 5-day adventure turning kids into bakers with interactive kitchen experiences.

These 5-day cooking series offer the perfect adventure for aspiring young chefs eager to acquire new skills. Covering everything from food preparation to kitchen safety measures, these summer cooking classes take a comprehensive approach to baking. Children will thrive in a collaborative environment where they'll master essential baking techniques, focusing on either sweet or savory flavors. From working with dough to crafting pretzels, they'll create an array of delightful treats. On the final day, they'll put their skills to the test with a fun cooking challenge.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

I drove 1-1/2 hr both ways to share experience with daughter. Chef never showed up and class was cancelled. And no notifications sent. How would you feel?
