Cooking Class - 4-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Bakery Treats

What You’ll Do

Empower your child's culinary skills with this hands-on baking summer camp.

Kids will explore the culinary world through delicious treats in this engaging cooking series. Designed for kids 7-11, these summer cooking classes are meant to improve baking skills and kitchen confidence. They'll learn the basics of baking, from kneading dough to decorating cakes with professional techniques. Plus, they'll learn food prep and kitchen safety skills all chefs should know. They'll end the class with new skills to bake anything they can dream of, and take home printed recipes to recreate their favorite dishes for friends and family.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

class was fun. but very light and fluffy. big disappointment is not having the correct containers to bring things home! you just taste while there and then leave everything

The class was well organized and moved at a good pace. I was not impressed with Chef Dan. He didn’t seem to enjoy what he was doing; he didn’t show us anything new or different in regards to cooking. He walked around with paper recipes and read the steps from them.
