Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Adventure Time!

What You’ll Do

Get adventurous during five days of cooking fun in this summer series for teen chefs.

This summer cooking series is for young adventurous chefs who want to improve their culinary skills while getting creative in the kitchen. Participants aged 12+ join an accomplished chef during summer cooking classes and dive into the details of more challenging recipes, cooking and baking techniques. The course provides information on more complex seasonings and ingredients and covers best practices for kitchen safety. All participants end the week with increased confidence and go home with detailed recipes and a graduation certificate.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

The chef we had (Chef Dulce) was great. The instruction, food, and atmosphere were also terrific. I think the only thing that was off was the communication. It would have been a lot simpler for my team (I booked for 12) if the Cozymeal email had explained this event would take place inside a mall.
