There isn't much that represents Italy more than homemade pasta. Are you up for the challenge?
In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Alessio will take you on a gourmet journey through Italy, teaching you the best methods for making the perfect pasta.
Start your journey with assorted crostini, then you'll prepare two types of pasta dough. The first is an eggless pasta from southern Italy, which you'll use to form orecchiette pasta paired with broccolini and sausage. Then, craft egg pasta from northern Italy, which you'll shape into ravioli filled with truffle ricotta in a silky sage brown butter sauce. For dessert: Sweet fried pasta.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Alessio was amazing! He was very personable and his ravioli transported us to Italy and even made some of us tear up because of how delicious it was. We also really enjoyed hearing about his Italian roots. Boxed pasta has forever been ruined for us and that is definitely not a bad thing! Would 1000% recommend this experience with Chef Alessio! Chef Alessio created a personal and friendly experience filled with fun anecdotes, delicious recipes, and memories that will last a lifetime. This is truly a one-of-a-kind experience with a hands-on opportunity to work with a master in his field, making pasta and laughing throughout the night. I truly cannot recommend this class enough and plan on booking another experience with Chef Alessio.

Chef Alessio's pasta class was a real treat. I learned how to make the perfect ravioli, while listening to interesting food anecdotes all relating to pasta and its origins.
It was great to find out how versatile pasta really is. Different ingredients, shapes, fillings and of course sauces to go with it. Salty, sweet, boiled, roasted, fried.....the possibilities are endless. What a fun experience it was and Chef Alessio's upbringing in Italy made it that much more special and authentic.
