What You’ll Do

Master the art of crafting dumplings in this immersive lesson with Chef Edmund.

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn how to prepare dumplings by hand from wrappers and fillings to a variety of folding techniques. Taste soy sauces from across Asia to explore the essential element of umami, then apply your experience to create your own secret sauce to enjoy with your dumplings and a pork belly braise.

Knead and roll out the dough for your dumpling skins, then practice pleating the edges around a juicy wagyu beef filling using a signature blend of 80% American wagyu beef and 20% local and organic heritage pork. Please note that dumpling skins are made with organic all-purpose flour and gluten-free wrapper substitutions are not available. Guests with gluten intolerance or gluten-free dietary preferences cannot be accommodated.

This class is suitable for ages 15+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was such fun and delicious evening, the perfect antidote to Sunday scaries. It is truly an all-levels class. No prior dumpling skills required, but there's more to learn even for experienced Chinese food eaters/makers. I took this class with a friend, but it would be a great date night or work team-building activity. Chef Eddie makes this fun for everyone. As soon as I got home, I started looking for my next class with him.

We had such a great time making dumplings with Eddie! Neither of us had any prior experience and Eddie is a true master - the class is super fun and also super instructive. We just hosted a dumpling dinner party with our friends using Eddie’s recipe and everyone loved it!
