Cooking Class - Lord of the Rings-Style Brunch

What You’ll Do

Craft a brunch inspired by the Lord of the Rings completely from scratch.

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Jenn, you will cook your way through four courses based on favorites eats from the Lord of the Rings books and films using fresh, high-quality ingredients and learning smart culinary techniques.

For first breakfast, mix and bake fresh blueberry scones with cream. Next, handcraft a plate of juicy tomatoes, earthy mushrooms, fresh spinach, beans and halloumi cheese for second breakfast. For elevenses, Chef Jenn will teach you how to poach eggs in a blend of tomatoes, peppers and garlic before baking homemade lembas bread.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had the pleasure of enjoying Chef Jenn's "Refined French Soirée" for a family trip. Chef Jenn was communicative, showed up prepared, and got straight to work preparing one of the best vegetarian dinners we all had ever had. Many in our group of 11 were non-vegetarians, but everyone said they were fully satisfied by the meal and shocked that vegetable dishes could taste so good. There were several courses, including a yummy dessert.

Chef Jenn was fabulous - she was fun and taught us a great deal about cooking clean and making "mock" meals such as "mock crabcakes" made with hearts of palm...crazy delicious!! Thank you Chef Jenn.
