Cooking Class - Sushi Techniques and Japanese Cooking
Assembling authentic sushi is a true art form, as you'll learn in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Nancy. She'll demonstrate her time-honored techniques for making sushi from scratch, along with two other classic Japanese recipes.
You'll begin by learning how to prepare perfect rice using a long-established method used by professional sushi chefs. Then, you'll create an array of rolls and nigiri before moving on to crafting teriyaki chicken or beef, followed by a Japanese potato salad with burnt sesame seed dressing. Chef Nancy will send you home with sushi mats used in class.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
