Learn how to make plant-based versions of traditional Chinese dishes from scratch with Chef Grace.
In this hands-on cooking class, you'll incorporate time-honored techniques to prepare traditional Chinese dishes from start to finish using only vegan ingredients.
Begin with a classic hot and sour soup studded with tofu and vegetables before a lesson in making homemade noodles for a dan dan noodle dish. Next, you will make a hearty mushroom and vegan pork sauce to pair with your noodles. Then, Chef Grace will finish the class by teaching you how to make a vegan steamed rice cake.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Hot and Sour Soup
With shiitake mushrooms, tofu, carrots, bamboo shoots and peas
Dan Dan Noodles
With bok choy, mushrooms, vegan pork, peanuts and pickles
Steamed Rice Cake
With sticky rice flour, black sesame seeds and peanut butter
