Learn and practice a range of techniques for a variety of classic seafood preparations.
Chef Blake helps hone your seafood skills in this interactive cooking class. You will learn how to shuck and broil oysters, sear and plate ahi tuna and make a delicate salmon dish.
Begin by preparing traditional oysters Rockefeller from start to finish, shucking oysters and creating the signature crunchy topping. Next, practice working with fresh ahi tuna to craft a Japanese-inspired wonton dish. For the main course, prepare salmon confit with sautéed spinach salad. Finish the meal with a light dessert of fruit kabobs and a sweet, creamy dip.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
