What You’ll Do

Let your little cooks experience the joy of Asian cuisine with this delicious dumpling workshop.

Chef Wei will get your mini-gourmets rolling in the kitchen in this hands-on Asian cooking class centered around the art of handcrafted dumplings. They'll learn the fundamentals of Asian cuisine while preparing their own delicious meal to enjoy.

Your little cooks will create handmade dough and transform it into dumpling wrappers to be filled with egg, ground pork, bok choy, shrimp and vegetables. They'll also create savory shumai featuring sticky rice, pork and vegetables. As a special treat, the budding chefs will prepare tapioca pearls from scratch for their very own boba tea!

A minimum of one adult is required to be in attendance per group. Adults are required to purchase tickets in addition to kids. This class is recommended for ages 5-15.

Riley, 10-years old, had a great time with this experience. We bought the equipment for making our own wrappers and dumplings!

More observational than interactive, but very informative, Chef Wei’s Dim Sum class was an entertaining way to spend an evening. Folding the different dumplings, rolling tapioca pearls, and chopping some veggies, followed by eating everything made us feel very comfortable about trying the recipes at home in the future. Thank you!

Gifted this experience to my wife. At the moment of booking, Wei accepted to replace the onion crispy cake with a kind of "gyoza" I showed by picture. The day of the class, another couple was with us, and Wei decided to do only what listed on the experience: no "gyoza", she said that she would have send me the recipe thereafter (why do I need to come to a class then???). Apart from this, the onion crispy cake was just flour mixed with green onion, the soup was OK and then noodles were OK too. Too priced, I would have preferred to know it before. I would not pay half of the original price was such experience. Not recommended.
