Join Chef Daniel for a vegetarian feast inspired by the bounty of a Mediterranean harvest.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Daniel will teach you how to make classic Italian dishes that highlight fresh, seasonal produce. Practice time-honored techniques while creating this meal inspired by the flavors of Italy.

Begin with a vegetarian antipasto featuring ricotta and pesto crostini, plus lima beans with gremolata — based on Chef Daniel's childhood memories in Argentina. For the main dish, learn the basic steps to build a creamy truffle risotto with mushrooms and seasonal vegetables, which you'll pair with a Mediterranean salad bursting with fresh vegetables. Finish the meal with an Italian almond tart prepared in advance by Chef Daniel.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Daniel led such a great and informative class! He is funny and friendly. My friend and I came together and made 3 pizzas - Margherita, White Pizza, and because I was allergic to pesto he allowed me to bring my own ingredients and make a Custom Pizza (spicy honey pizza)! He gave incredibly detailed explanations about not only what to do but why certain reactions happen in the process of cooking. We gained a better understanding of best practices in the kitchen. My friend and I are also from New York, and the pizza we made was the closest we’ve ever come across to a New York slice in the Bay Area!
