Explore the foundational skills behind your favorite baked goods with Chef Julian.
In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Julian will teach guests of all experience levels the fundamental techniques behind classic baked goods. You will learn the basics of preparing dough, practice the art of making traditional pies and learn how to turn simple ingredients into bakery-quality cookies.
Begin the class by making true breakfast favorites, cinnamon rolls and muffins, from scratch. Next, utilize your newfound pie-making skills to craft a buttery, homemade crust and fill it with delicious seasonal fruit. Finally, show off your cookie expertise by baking heavenly chocolate cookies.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I highly recommend booking with Chef Julian. He is not only a fantastic chef, but he's very interesting and fun to work with. He is so knowledgeable about food and you will definitely learn a lot working with him, whether you're interested in a cooking class or hiring him for a private chef experience. You will not be disappointed! I am looking forward to booking Chef Julian the next time I'm in Portland
