In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Mateus, you'll learn the fundamental skills you need to handcraft a classic Asian-style feast as you explore ingredients and seasonings that add a unique umami flavor to recipes, such as dashi and furikake.
Master the techniques to achieve perfectly cooked vegetable skewers and marinated proteins with sauces and seasonings inspired by Asian flavors paired with fluffy rice and fresh vegetables. For dessert, Chef Mateus will guide you through making a cake full of Asian flavor featuring tangy ginger balanced by a light and earthy matcha whipped cream.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
