This three-course menu features classic Jamaican favorites.
In this interactive cooking class, you'll make several dishes with Jamaican flair as Chef Kirk teaches you all about the ingredients and techniques of Jamaican cooking.
First, you'll prepare fritters made with hearts of palm and bell peppers for an appetizer. For the main dish, you'll cook fresh shrimp with Jamaican jerk seasoning, and stuffed plantains with spinach, onions and garlic on the side. Finally, Chef Kirk will show you how to layer sweet mango and strawberry parfaits to enjoy with a scoop of cream and dash of cinnamon.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Kirk, who began his culinary career in 2008, is passionate about healthy eating and currently operates the first-ever Caribbean influenced organic catering company in South Florida where he caters events of any size. Chef Kirk has curated menus and catered for a number of celebrities, including President Obama and Olympic medalist Dara Torres. He aims to teach others how to live a healthy lifestyle by cooking with flavorful, organic, high-quality ingredients.
