Cooking Class - The Flavors of Bourbon Street

Celebrate the spirit of Southern American cuisine with a lesson in New Orleans classics.
Chef Shelley gets the good times rolling in this hands-on cooking class centered around the timeless creations of Bourbon Street. It's a lesson in traditional cooking that highlights the distinctive culinary character of the American South!
Authentic beignets are first on the menu; this unique version is made with crawfish and fiery Cajun spice. Then, it's on to jambalaya prepared with rice, fresh coastal shrimp, sausage and chicken stewed in a spicy tomato broth. Finish on a sweet note with a white chocolate bread pudding served with warm rum sauce.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
