This class dives into a variety of baking techniques essential for creating light, airy pastries and perfect pastry cream. Craft a delicate berry Pavlova with fresh berries and cream, then move on to a classic Paris-Brest filled with hazelnut praline. You’ll also create profiteroles with a lemon thyme crème pâtissière and finish with cardamom-scented English scones served with butter and jam. Perfect for any pastry lover, this class gives you the skills to recreate these delights at home.

The Italian chef, who has cooked all over Europe, now lives in New York where he runs a catering company and volunteers teaching children kitchen skills. Chef Ivan focuses on Italian, French and sushi courses, and is excited to educate guests on new techniques.

This was by far the best cooking class that I have ever taken. Chef Ivan is an excellent educator who really cares that his students learn about proper strategies for cooking the chosen recipes. I would highly recommend his course to others and will definitely be signing up for another one of his courses.

Chef gave excellent instructions and answered ALL of our questions. I would have appreciated some individual feedback on our/my cutting skills to help me develop my proficiency withe a chef’s knife.
