In this hands-on class with Chef Drake, you will learn how to prepare some of your favorite Chinese takeout dishes at home using techniques that are easier than picking up the phone to order takeout.
Some of the Chinese takeout-style recipes and dishes you can look forward to adding to your culinary repertoire in this class include spam fried rice with pineapple and seasonal vegetables, tender and savory beef tossed with crisp and sweet broccoli cooked in an umami-rich garlicky sauce, and flavor-packed homemade Chinese five-spice donuts for dessert.

Absolutely enjoyed everything about this class. Hosted in Chef Drakes cozy apartment the food was amazing and so fun to make. Can’t wait to try it again in my home.

Chef Drake was all around amazing. The food was great and I definitely will be making at least 2 of these recipies again later. The whole experience of learning and participating in the meal prep was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We will most certainly be back again.

With more than 10 years of experience in the food industry and a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Drake has helped open multiple restaurants and bars in Manhattan and Brooklyn, as well as worked closely with celebrity chefs for appearances on news stations and shows on the Food Network. He also worked as a private chef for high-profile clients, both at home and at large-scale catering events.
