Cooking Class - Beignets Three Ways
In this hands-on class with Chef Ahki, you will learn how to make from-scratch beignets three different ways using the same dough, but filled and coated with different ingredients — each yielding a completely new beignet experience.
Chef Ahki will begin by teaching you how to prepare the subtly savory beignet dough that will yield perfectly crisp exteriors and pillowy, tender interiors once cooked. Then, you will use your handcrafted beignet dough to make shrimp beignets with New Orleans barbecue sauce, crab beignets, and classic beignets dusted with powdered sugar.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
