In this hands-on class with Chef Katy, you will learn how to prepare a three-course Japanese-inspired menu using high-quality ingredients, and the magical sous vide method of cooking.
After learning the basics of sous vide, Chef Katy will teach you how to prepare a bowl of slurp-worthy Japanese-style ramen complete with chasu pork belly and a soy-marinated soft-boiled egg both cooked sous vide. You can also look forward to preparing handmade shrimp gyoza with a homemade dipping sauce, as well as sous vide ginger crème brûleé for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
