Cooking Class - All About Tacos

Chef Taylor was great. Very knowledgeable, extremely engaging and comfortable to be around. He allowed us to participate as much or little as we were comfortable with and the food was amazing. We'll probably try his pasta making class next.

Chef Taylor and his wife were absolutely wonderful! The experience, the teaching, and the overall atmosphere of their apartment and the class was fantastic. I loved the techniques, the technology, and learning little things like how to chop veggies professionally. Overall the best thing to top it off was Tot (their lovely beagle) who joined us throughout the event. Thank you to Taylor and his wife for hosting!

We had a wonderful time with Chef Taylor learning how to make green goddess salad, rissoto, salmon (he prepared a cauliflower steak for my wife since she's vegetarian), and sous vide cheesecake. We could tell that a lot of thought and dedication went into the recipes he developed and everything was tasty and bursting with flavor. He made his recipes very approachable, explaining each step and involving us in the cooking process by showing us, e.g., techniques on slicing veggies (prop your knuckle against the blade to avoid cutting yourself!) and on searing salmon (scoring the skin to produce a crispy crust). One of the things I liked the most is that he uses everyday ingredients, like salmon from Costco and daisy sour cream and cherry tomatoes from Wegmans, to make delicious and inventive creations. Not everyone wants to shell out for specialty ingredients at Whole Foods, and we appreciated that he used quality, but accessible, ingredients for home cooks to be able to replicate in their own kitchens. Both Chef Taylor, his wife (also named Taylor), and their dog Tot were friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Chef Taylor! So personable and knowledgeable. His apartment was beautiful too and he was a lovely host. The food being as good as it was was just the icing on the cake. My boyfriend and I don't love kale but his preparation changed our mind about it! Would highly recommend this experience.

We had an amazing time cooking with Chef Taylor! Getting a private dinner from a chef that has worked at a Michelin Star restaurant was beyond amazing. On top of that, we had great conversations all night. We had a blast and I would Definitely recommend booking this class to others!

Chef Taylor provided an exceptional culinary experience! He was engaging and personable and made sure his apartment felt like a home while I was there. He is a detailed and patient teacher, humorous and conversational. The food was exquisite and bursting with flavor and color. His preference to make most, if not all, food items from scratch gave each dish the perfect touch and I fully appreciated the time he took to intricately plate each meal. Highly recommended!
