China has a variety of regional cuisines, but Sichuan cuisine is one of the most popular thanks to its mastery of flavors and varieties of spices, including the famous Sichuan peppercorn.

If you want to explore Sichuan’s most traditional dishes, this cooking class with Chef Li is a great place to start. Begin by learning how to make homemade Sichuan chili oil. You will use it to prepare a popular Sichuan beef dish and with dry fried green beans. Finally, whip up a red bean dessert soup.
