Cooking Class - A Taste Tour of Jamaica

Learn about Jamaican heritage and culture from a chef's perspective in this hands-on class.

Like many cultures throughout the world, the Jamaican tradition places a premium on food. In this interactive experience with Chef Cleon, you'll have a chance to explore how three popular Jamaican dishes have played a role in the island's heritage, as well as a few tricks for preparing Jamaican meals at home.

You'll begin with one of Jamaica's most iconic dishes, spicy jerk chicken glazed in honey. Next, you'll prepare mouthwatering coconut rice and beans. End the evening on a sweet note with cinnamon festivals, a beloved comfort food.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

As a chef, teacher, and culinary student, Chef Cleon excelled at putting his own spin on complex recipes, a habit that's earned him a handful of awards throughout his career. Since relocating to the Boston area, Chef Cleon has continued to push boundaries in the culinary industry.
