Nearly every diner agrees that freshly made pasta tastes better than the storebought variety, yet few cooks feel up to the task of hand-rolling pasta. In this hands-on class, Chef Jacob hopes to change that by sharing the techniques and history of two popular types of pasta.
The class begins with a fresh, palate-cleansing spinach salad. Next, you'll roll fresh pasta dough into fettuccine and combine it with pesto and pecorino cheese, followed by a bold farfalle pasta al pomodoro. Along with the pasta, both sauces will be made completely from scratch.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
