Discover unique and creative ways to infuse kombucha's effervescence into a variety of delicious dishes.
In this hands-on class with Chef Kathy, you'll learn how to brew and flavor your own kombucha as well as a handful of creative ways to use kombucha in cooking and baking.
Chef Kathy will begin by teaching you how to brew a batch of kombucha while you enjoy a flavor-filled kombucha tasting. Then, you'll learn three different ways to use kombucha in the kitchen. You'll also leave the proud owner of a SCOBY — symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast — so you can start brewing your own kombucha at home!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Kathy was a wonderful host! She's very knowledgeable on all cooking techniques and ingredients. Very attentive to detail too. Her kitchen is well-equipped for any meal. The meal was well-guided and our group of 3 was well-fed. We had a great afternoon.

Chef Kathy is a talented, creative chef who has worked in the culinary industry for over 20 years as a caterer, a personal chef and a pastry chef specializing in exclusive wedding cakes. She is also well-versed in creating menus that meet specific needs, desires and diets, and is a certified Master Food Preserver. Chef Kathy has a passion for cooking and looks forward to sharing her knowledge, skills and techniques with you.
