Learn the fundamentals of authentic Mexican cooking in this hands-on class with Chef Michael.
In this hands-on class with Chef Michael, you'll learn the skills and techniques needed to prepare a three-course menu of authentic Mexican dishes that you typically won't find at your neighborhood taco joint.
You will begin with a crowd-pleasing ooey-gooey queso fundido chockfull of spicy chorizo and flambéed with tequila. For your entrée, Chef Michael will teach you how to transform the humble poblano pepper into chiles en nogada stuffed with pork and beef and bathed in a luxurious walnut cream sauce. Lastly, you'll end with a classic Mexican flan.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Michael is a wonderful chef, and culinary instructor who brought his kitchen to life during his demonstration. I enjoyed learning about various spices and how to effectively incorporate them into each dish. Chef Michael has worked for some of the top Chefs establishments in the Las Vegas Valley, Chef Jose Andres, Emeril Lagasse to name a few. Chef Michael has an amazing attention to detail, the Rahm Schnitzel, and the Chilies En Nogada were both quite savory, and very rich in flavor, the Creme Brûlée made for quite a delectable desert. Dining with Chef Michael will make for a great culinary experience.

Chef Michael has a wealth of culinary knowledge and expertise. He has worked as sous chef, line cook and more, in a variety of fabulous establishments, including steakhouses, stadiums, and cafés. What Chef Michael enjoys the most is sharing his cooking experiences, culinary knowledge and techniques, and the many recipes he has learned and developed throughout his years in the culinary industry.
