In this hands-on class with Chef Luis, you will learn the skills and techniques needed to prepare a four-course Caribbean feast featuring some of the most commonly used Caribbean ingredients and the spices and seasonings that help them reach their full potential.
Some of the recipes you can look forward to creating in this class include a shredded and saucy traditional Cuban dish of ropa vieja, yellow rice with chicken redolent of saffron, and a delicate coconut flan for dessert that will transport you straight to a table in the sand.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Luis transformed our home into a culinary paradise with his remarkable 4-course Caribbean-inspired menu. His bubbly and charming demeanour added an extra layer of joy to my husbands 55th birthday celebration. Following his instructions was a breeze, making the entire experience seamless and super enjoyable. This dinner was not just a meal; it was a journey through flavours and textures that delighted our senses. Chef Luis, with his exceptional skills and warm personality, created one of the best experiences we could have imagined. Chef Luis is excellent. Extremely personable and full of life experiences. He arrived an hour early, what a pleasant surprise, and we spend 4 fun filled hours together. Prior to confirming our booking we had ask if he would modify the menu to jerk chicken. He had no problem doing so and he was more than happy to create a different menu which consisted of black rice, fried banana caribbean salad, coconut flan and morir sonando. You can't go wrong having Chef Luis cook for you.
Chef Luis is a talented international chef with vast culinary experience that originates from his time growing up and studying in Cuba and Spain. A multi linguist, Chef Luis speaks several languages, including English, Spanish, Italian and French. He considers himself to be an excellent chef sommelier, as he is well versed and knowledgeable in restaurant quality wine and food pairings. Cooking is Chef Luis' life passion, and he looks forward to sharing it with you!
