In this hands-on class with Chef Ashok, you will have the unique opportunity to explore the unexplored dishes of modern Indian cuisine that manages to keep all of those beautifully authentic flavors in tact.
You will learn how to prepare four different dishes that Chef Ashok has handpicked from different regions of India. As you work, Chef Ashok will also share stories behind the ingredients you will be using, the dishes you will be making, and the Indian culture, which is sure to make for a top-notch gastronomic experience.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was a pleasure to both watch Chef Ashok cook and then dine on his creations. He has so much worldly cooking experience and it shows. French, Spanish, Indian, etc. My favorite was the chicken kabobs, marinated in spices and cream cheese, skewered with vegetables and then quickly broiled. So moist and flavorful. I need the recipe for that one. What a neat class space, in an actual school culinary classroom straight out of the 50's! Would definitely learn from Chef Ashok again.

Meet your chef
After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu with high honors, Chef Ashok went on to gain experience in Spanish cuisine working with Michelin starred chefs in Bilbao and San Sebastian. Chef Ashok also honed the art of perfection and culinary discipline while working with renowned French and Italian chefs in Australia. Chef Ashok enjoys employing his creativity designing custom themed modern fusion dinners and hosting cooking classes.
