Cooking Class - Mastering French Cooking

In this hands-on class with Chef Matthew — who has over a decade of experience working in French kitchens in America and Paris — you'll learn how to prepare a classic four-course French menu, including some of those quintessential French dishes you've always wanted to master.

Some of the recipes and techniques you can look forward to mastering in this class include coquilles St.-Jacques that are dramatic in their creation and elegant in final presentation as well as a chocolate mousse that tastes like your favorite chocolate bar is frolicking among the clouds.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Growing up in a small farming community, Chef Matthew’s passion for cooking was inspired by his family’s love of cooking with ingredients fresh from their farm. Chef Matthew went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America and then earn a degree from the International Sommelier Guild. He has since gained more than 20 years of culinary experience at home and abroad while living in Russia and traveling through Europe.
