Cooking Class - Regional French Bistro Fare

Journey through various regions of France and discover the best bistro-style dishes across the country!

In this hands-on class with Chef Greg, you will learn how to prepare a four-course French bistro-style menu using classic French techniques and recipes hailing from different regions of the country.

You will begin by learning how to brew a homemade French onion soup bubbling over with brûléed cheese. Then, using authentic French cognac, Chef Greg will share with you the secrets to a perfect steak au poivre. You can also look forward to mastering a gloriously golden potato gratin and a simple yet impressive French apple tart.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Born in France, Chef Greg began his culinary career at the age of fourteen as an apprentice studying under world-class chefs in Auxerre and Paris. After moving to the U.S., he continued to refine his culinary skills in a number of fine dining establishments. Chef Greg also spent time teaching international cooking at Sullivan University. Now, he is the chef and owner of a highly respected gourmet catering company in Louisville.
