Discover a handful of recipes Chef Maria collected and learned throughout her year in Italy.

In this hands-on class with Chef Maria, you'll learn how to prepare an impressive six-course Italian comfort food menu and inadvertently come to know the vast difference between authentic Italian and American-Italian cuisine.

Chef Maria will begin by teaching on the art of bread making as you learn an easy dough recipe for a soft roll you will further adorn with fresh rosemary, provolone, and pancetta. Some of the other recipes you can look forward to making include stuffed eggplant, ricotta dumplings in broth, and an unbelievable hazelnut pasta dish.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After falling in love with cooking at age 15, Chef Maria decided to take the leap and attend the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating, Chef Maria spent time traveling around the world as a personal chef before returning to the U.S. to take a job as executive chef for a luxury resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Chef Maria now manages a contemporary gastropub in Las Vegas where everything is made from scratch.
