French bistro-style cooking easily transitions from restaurant to home kitchen with a few simple techniques.
In this hands-on class, you will learn how to prepare a four-course French bistro menu featuring some of Chef Thomas' most popular dishes!
After beginning with a zesty and classic shrimp appetizer, Chef Thomas will teach you how to prepare a home-cooked steak au poivre that will put even the best neighborhood bistro to shame, as well as a twice baked potato that makes for the perfect plate mate. Lastly, you'll end on a sweet note with a classic French bistro dessert: crème brûlée.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The offerings were rich and insightful! Chef Thomas's experience as a restauranteur, is undoubtably apparent in every dish. He was great at explaining the preparation of each dish, from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable in explaining where certain spices not available at the local market could be purchased. He offered a wealth of information, that made for quite an insightful dining experience.

Chef Thom was so warm and personable! He is a wonderful cook and made the recipes accessible for an average joe to replicate. His veal Marsala was delicious, tender and perfectly seasoned. He also knew my boyfriend was really interested in cooking so he gave him a ton of tips. On top of good food and cooking knowledge, chef Tom was such a pleasure to get to know. Fantastic company!
