Chef Linda along with her daughter, Chef Sarah, cooked us a most excellent Fresh French Fare supper for 5 girls and a spouse hiding in the bedroom lol. They arrived with everything in hand and within 60 minutes we were having fresh mixed salad greens with amazing dressing along with a stacked beet and herb goat cheese medallions. Our main was Sole Meuniere with scalloped potatoes and haricots vert which were all expertly cooked, Pots du creme au chocolat did not disappoint either! They cooked, taught us french techniques along the way, served us and cleaned the entire kitchen including the stove. We ate everything it was so good. I can't wait to hire Chef Linda again!

Chef Linda guided us through a French Bistro meal. She shared her insights that are not only applicable to French cooking but also to cooking with fresh ingredients. There were many helpful tidbits. The process was repeatable and the outcomes were tasteful. We left with good memories and recipes.

Chef Linda came to our house and prepared a French meal: french onion soup, steak au poivre with roasted potatoes and asparagus, and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was delicious! She was fun to chat with, too. Full of great information and stories!

We had a great time with Chef Linda! We learned history, new cooking techniques, and even how to use knives properly. On top of it all, we cooked some amazing food and had a delicious dinner! The class was so much more than following a recipe and throwing some ingredients together. We learned what we were doing and why. We learned in such a way that we are not likely to forget our lessons. I highly recommend Chef Linda and her classes for a fun time, great food, and great learning!

My wife and I gave ourselves a cooking class as a Christmas present: Flavors of the Southwest with Chef Linda of Sage Culinary - an independent contractor for Cozymeal. We learned to cook Antojito, made Pepita Caesar Dressing, had a blast making Santa Fe-Style Chile Rellenos and Pipian Rojo with Beans a la Olla, and for dessert Buñuelos and a Mexican Chocolate Sundae. We learned a lot about the food’s history (Linda is a food anthropologist!) as well as cooking techniques, prepping and roasting our own poblano chiles. I now can proudly say I know how to properly hold and use a chef’s knife. Linda was a great teacher! Great night of fun, learning, and delicious food!

We took the class Thai one on and loved every moment! Chef Linda teaches you many aspects of Thai cooking, knife skills, sourcing ingredients, preparing foods and much more. We can’t wait to take another class from her. Such a great experience…I would highly recommend!

We cooked a wonderful Thai dinner complete soup, main dishes and desert. All was absolutely delicious. We learned new kitchen skills and Linda was a delight and thorough instructor/chef.

Wow, we had such a great time in the Thai cooking class with Chef Linda! My partner and I were looking for some skills and recipes for Thai food and wanted a fun experience for a belated birthday present. This class did not disappoint! At the start of the class Chef Linda gave us an introduction to the style of food we'd be learning to cook as well as the ingredients and where to get them. Then we jumped right in to learning how to properly hold a knife, prep the ingredients, and then right in to the cooking! We started with a yummy Tom Kha Kai ( a coconut chicken soup) which was amazing! Then, after that appetizer, we got started on the two main dishes for dinner (Panang shrimp curry and Chicken lettuce cups with peanut sauce). They were superb! Then we finished off with a Thai-spiced caramelized pineapple compote over ice cream. We also brought our own wine that Chef Linda let us open after the knife work was done. The food was great but Chef Linda's deep knowledge of Thai cooking and other traditions was really what made it special. The only thing we would have changed would have been to bring more friends to join in the fun and amazing food. We will definitely try more classes with Chef Linda in the future. Thank you so much for a great evening and for the lessons that will continue to provide for years to come! Highly recommended!!!!!

I learned I was cracking eggs incorrectly and how to properly chop an onion so my eyes don't water. I had never prepared Mexican corn dip or chilies rellenos before and it was delicious.

Having a cooking experience with Chef Linda you will definitely learn about how to be more efficient cook. We also learned a lot about Southwest ingredients and made delicious tostadas and enchiladas. A must class for cooking enthusiasts.

My experience with Chef Linda was more than I had anticipated. I learned to cook 4 different dishes while learning the ins and outs of bechamel. I was very pleased, by the end of the evening, to undestand the various points of cooking a mother sauce.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the Thai cooking class with Chef Linda! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to follow—even for beginners. We learned to make several authentic dishes, and all were delicious. I also appreciated learning about Thai ingredients and cooking techniques along the way. My husband and I really enjoyed our time with Chef Linda. She was pleasant, let us do all the prep work (with some demonstrations), mixing and cooking. Love that she was patient and offered helpful tips "tricks of the trade" so to speak, and provided all the recipes to follow. We really enjoyed the spring rolls with peanut sauce and feel much more confident remaking some of the dishes at home. The Vietnamese meatballs were absolutely delicious!!! Chef Linda accommodated my request to eliminate cilantro from my servings but allow my husband to have as much cilantro as he'd like. We never felt rushed and enjoyed her sharing her knowledge of cuisines and where dishes, ingredients came from. She also did all the clean-up which was such a nice treat! We are looking forward to having another cooking class with her in the near future. Wish we had taken some photos because the food turned out delicious and Chef Linda set up the dining room table so beautifully.

This was a great class! The recipes were unique and delicious. Chef Linda is very knowledgeable and had several great tips and tricks. My only suggestion would be to start the class earlier- we didn’t finish almost 10pm. I would attend another class though- it was fun and engaging.

This menu was so delicious and Chef Linda has a great deal of information about the history of food related to what we cooked. We made our own pasta and I learned a lot of great cooking tips! Know I can do fresh garlic quickly and do a pomegranate in less time!!

I recently had the pleasure of attending Chef Linda's Mexican food cooking class, and it was an absolute delight! Chef Linda's extensive knowledge and clever kitchen hacks truly impressed me. The Queso Fundido with Poblano Vinaigrette was a culinary masterpiece; the flavors were incredibly delicious and blended perfectly. Equally impressive was the Corn and Poblano Lasagna, which left me craving for more.
Apart from the scrumptious dishes, what made the experience even more enjoyable was the comfortable and welcoming setting of Chef Linda's home kitchen. The cozy ambiance made it feel like I was cooking among friends. And speaking of friends, I must mention the adorable feline companions who added an extra touch of warmth to the atmosphere. Meeting Chef Linda's cats was a delightful bonus to an already fantastic experience.
Overall, I can't praise Chef Linda enough for her culinary expertise, her creative kitchen hacks, and her ability to create a cozy and inviting cooking environment. Attending her Mexican food cooking class was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their culinary skills while savoring incredible flavors.

We chose the New Orleans meal
and it did not disappoint our tastebuds. Chef Linda had a fabulous knowledge of the NOLA area including the history of the people and the food. She welcomed us into her beautiful home and we worked side by side in her kitchen (all ingredients,
Utensils and cookware provided) and learned new tips and techniques while making a wonderfully aromatic and delicious four course meal. We ate as we cooked and had enough for leftovers!! Linda was warm and friendly and funny. I'd highly recommend this experience. When I'm back in Tucson next year, I'll definitely book another cooking lesson!

A fun experience learning about the food used in the class as well as cooking, knife and seasoning techniques. Highly recommend it.

Chef Linda and our cooking and eating experience was amazing!!!!
Chef Linda, is so knowledgeable and provided wonderful information to help us understand the what and reason why cooking certain foods!!! Also great stories and humor throughout the evening!!! Our meal was beyond delicious!!! We will be back with Chef Linda and bringing friends to join in a fun evening experience!!!

Ten stars! Not only was the food delicious, but Linda was a great host and very knowledgeable about food and regaled us with tons of information and was great company as we ate. We also had to make last minute changes to our schedule and she was super gracious and flexible to make it work out for us.

This was more than just cooking food. Linda spent considerable time sharing her vast knowledge and use of the different ingredients that went into our meal. She also gave us tips and showed us ways that will make us better cooks no matter what we might be cooking. A superb evening! Thanks Linda.

Linda is great! We had a lesson in chiles- fresh and dried- before we got cooking. She kept us engaged and on track. We learned about the effect of salt on flavors… and those flavors were delicious!!

Beyond excellent! Linda was wonderful in her food knowledge of history, techniques, and flavoring. The experience was relaxed, engaging, and enjoyable. Even those in our group who had no interest in food and cooking willingly participated. Curiosities and questions were answered. Linda maintained composure as we really made a kitchen mess….but it was well worth it. Thank you Linda!

Linda was amazing! She is very knowledgeable about the history of the foods we prepared. It was a hands-on class and I learned several very useful tips. And you certainly don't go away hungry! We attended the Southwest cooking class - the chili rellenos was delicious and we learned a new way to prepare it. The beans, salad, guacamole and elote were awesome. Can't recommend the class high enough. You won't be disappointed.

Chef Linda was outstanding. It was my boyfriends birthday and she went above and beyond my expectations. She has extensive knowledge of the history of food, knife techniques and more! Her home is beautiful, clean, and her kitchen/utensils are top notch! Our family will be doing another class with her!

meal itself was amazing and exited to have learned new techniques that I will use again in the future. We will definitely be booking another cooking class with Chef Linda soon. Highly recommend.

I attended this class on 3/28 and can confirm that Brooke’s 3/29 review accurately reflects the experience.
The class is held in the chef’s home, which was not clean or guest-ready. The kitchen and shared spaces were cluttered, the bathroom was dirty, and overall it did not feel like an appropriate environment for a paid cooking experience.
Food safety was a major concern. There were multiple instances of the chef touching her face and then handling ingredients without washing hands. Shared towels were also used by multiple guests.
The class itself was disorganized, with a long introduction that cut into cooking time and an overall rushed, somewhat dismissive instruction style.
This experience did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, professionalism, or value. I would not recommend.

Was really looking forward to this. Very disappointing. House was dirty and so unkempt. While encouraged to bring our own booze we were held hostage to chef telling us we could not consume it until the meal— which was a truly paltry and an insulting portion. Chef berated us, was agitated and brash. A huge miss.

Class is at the chef’s house which was very very dirty. The chef was rude, impatient, and disorganized. We basically made a group dinner and everyone received very small portions. The description for the class says you can enjoy wine while you cook but she didn’t let us open our bottle until the main course which was served at 8:45 and we left by 9. Save your money and just got to a nice dinner somewhere else.

Knowledge of cooking was excellent. The food we made was very good. However, if you’re looking for a pleasant experience with uncluttered kitchen or dining table staged for a lovely dinner, this would not be a good choice.
