Chef Cher was incredible! We had such a great time working with her and getting to know her. She was very knowledgable and helpful, and in the end we were shocked by what we had made together. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't have had a greater time. We had barely started before I was already thinking of occasions in the future that we could work with Chef again. 10/10 would recommend!

My family had Chef Cher come to our Airbnb to teach us to cook a Southern feast - fried chicken, red beans and rice, collard greens, sweet potato biscuits and banana pudding layered with bananas and Nilla wafers.
We had the best time, and the food was all so well-seasoned and delish!
We were nervous because the Airbnb was sparsely equipped, but Chef Cher brought all food, spices and tools we needed. By monitoring the unfamiliar stove, she was able to adjust the cooking techniques so that all the dishes came out perfectly. She gave everyone the help they needed, from my novice 14 year-old daughter to my very experienced cook mom. We laughed a lot. We also ate every last morsel over the next two days! Thank you Chef Cher for a wonderful multi-generational family experience!

Chef Chericia was absolutely perfect. She ran the show without appearing to run it. Made the event so relaxed and it seemed almost effortless, and the meal was absolutely delicious.
We all enjoyed participating in different ways and it was so much fun. I certainly learned a few tricks of the trade and can't wait to try the recipes at home. Top notch!!!

I highly recommend Chef Chericia. She is an a knowledgeable instructor and curates a fun experience for date night. For Spanish Tapas, we made Seafood Paella, Churros, Garlic Shrimp, Empanadas, and chimichurri sauce. All delicious!! We were stuffed after consuming the fruit of our labor. I highly recommend Chief Chericia and can't wait to try her other meals!

Amazing private chef experience with Chef Chericia! She came to our home, tweaked the recipes to match our dietary restrictions, and was such a pleasure to work with and learn from. This dinner and cooking event was the highlight of our workshop. Chef was very knowledgeable and prepared an amazing menu. We had so much fun cooking together and would highly recommend this event to anyone who wants to eat the most delicious paella in the US. I've been to Valencia Spain and would honestly say this meal rivaled the food I had there.

Chef Cherica and her assistant Joy were absolutely amazing!! From the pleasant greeting, to the instructions on preparation, to assisting the team with preparation, to serving, just STELLAR! The food was so delicious!!!! Never in a million years would I have thought that I'd make pasta from scratch! She was also kind enough to provide the team with the recipes of the meals we prepared. I would recommend her services to groups for ladies night, bachelorette parties, corporate events, family events, and the list goes on and on! My team was there on Wednesday evening; and, they are still talking about how fun it was.

Cher is great! The meal was perfectly choreographed, we learned so much, and Cher was so gracious and talented. She navigated cooking in our apartment with ease and nothing felt awkward. What a fantastic experience! Chef Chericia was absolutely terrific. We organized this as a team-building event for one of our clients ... and they LOVED it! The two-day retreat featured this 3-hour Southern cooking class in the middle of day one and really helped build connections between new and old members of the team. Eating together what we prepared together was very special. Chef Chericia was super easy to work with and went out of her way to meet all of our group's needs—dietary and otherwise. We had an AMAZING evening with Chef Cher. We were nervous to have an experienced chef in our kitchen, but it ended up being perfect — we feel confident we can replicate this meal in the future. Chef Cecelia was fantastic! She is so sweet and laid back. She took the time to walk us through each process, showed us tips and shared ways we could adapt recipes. Absolutely an amazing experience. She taught us cooking methods that we have never known before. She even taught us the proper way to hold a knife and cutting techniques. This was the perfect unique date experience. It was fun, hands on and exciting. The southern soul food cuisine was delicious. We made butter milk biscuits, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits and mango cobbler. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun date experience or just want to learn new cooking skills. Chef CC was awesome and very easy to work with!

Our experience was fantastic! Chef Cici was knowledgable and generous, both with her time and her food. We made some delicious sushi rolls, and we got to choose which ingredients we put in. And she was willing to work with me and my sister, even though we are both under 18 and other establishments would have refused. I definitely would recommend this class and trying Cozymeal in general.

Chef Chericia came to my boyfriend's apartment in Crystal City and taught us how to make sushi. She was wonderful the whole time -- her explanations and directions were clear and helpful. I mentioned my knife skills needed work and she paid particular attention to that. And of course, there was a ton of delicious sushi for us to enjoy. I just discovered Cozymeal and it totally exceeded my expectations! The webpage is easy to go around, to book and to pay.
I booked a private sushi class with Chef Chericia as a birthday gift for my husband. I didn´t know what to expect. But I was surprised in a good way! Chef Chericia was really kind with us, answered all our questions, she adapted very well to our little kitchen, and she even left it all cleaned up! It was like having a friend teaching you.
My husband was thrilled by the so original gift, he had an amazing time and a delicious dinner! We both did!

I had the pleasure of attending Chef Chericia's cooking class during our trip to Washington, DC. Chericia is a very knowledgable, kind, and super fun teacher. Her knowledge, technique, and general approach to showing you how to prepare a delicious seafood meal is just great and she makes everything fun at the same time. We prepared the balsamic-glazed salmon and the grilled oysters and simply loved it. If you are looking for a good chef in Washington DC who can show you how to prepare good seafood (especially grilled seafood), then Chef Chericia is your chef.

Chef Chericia did a fantastic job preparing the Quintessential Spanish menu for 18 of us. We were kept up to date with the progress of each dish and was able to enjoy a course while she prepared the rest of the meal. Each dish was delicious and was artfully presented. My wife and I had a blast with Chef Chericia, I highly recommend her to anyone looking to book a cooking class! We had her over to our apartment to do the Italian night, and she made us feel completely at home, and was a very patient teacher as well. The recipes were easy to follow, and the food was delicious! We also had plenty of leftovers, which was a nice addition. If you're looking for a fun date night with delicious food and even an opportunity to learn some cooking, then I highly recommend booking with Chef Chericia!

This was my first Cozymeal and I was so impressed! The amount of food, level of instruction, and chef's friendliness and expertise were all above and beyond. Every ingredient was super high-quality (shoutout Wegmans) and we have plenty of leftovers. Each dish was delish and Chef Chericia made sure to tailor flavors to our tastes - asking how much garlic we like, what our spice tolerance is, etc. Not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical on the whole Cozymeal thing, but this absolutely exceeded my expectations. Well worth the price. This is a PERFECT date night, team building, girlfriends hangout, whatever. We had a blast.

Let me start off by saying that Chef Chericia is an amazing "person." She walked into my home smiling and ready to give me and my guest a personal experience that we could not wait to have! As "Chef Chericia," we received professionalism, enthusiasm, knowledge (because we asked a lot of questions about her journey of becoming a chef), and a very personable demeanor. My guest and I Fell.In.Love with her style of cooking. We selected the Surf and Turf meal and it was to die for! The steak was juicy with a light crust from her rub. The ingredients used were VERY flavorful. Her Risotto was authentically made as not everyone has the patience or know-how to make this and she nailed it! Our dessert was an orange/spice cake (like a pound cake), and I melted inside. THE.best.cake.ever! SUPER happy with Chef Chericia and would highly recommend her. If you skip over her, you are skipping over excellence!

Our kids gave us this sushi-making class as a gift, because it's one of our favorite foods. The class was so much fun and very educational. Chef Chericia was amazing and an absolute delight. We will definitely book her again the next time the opportunity arises. She cooks all kinds of food, not just sushi. We were delighted with Chef Cher's sushi class which she conducted for our 11 year old daughter's birthday party with five friends. Chef Cher was punctual, well-prepared, and arrived with all of the necessary equipment and food for a really fun session. She is not only an excellent and experienced chef and instructor, but she has a great, relaxed, manner and interacts easily with the kids. She kept their interest up throughout the lesson, engaged them with all of their questions, and taught them some great skills. The result was a pile of different kinds of sushi which the kids loved and which Chef Cher generously shared with us parents as well. She took care of clean-up and left us with a bunch of extra goodies. Our daughter and we are now inspired to try it on our own. We recommend her very highly -- you and the children won't be disappointed.

Chef Chericia was so much fun! We were given the experience as a Christmas gift and invited two friends to join us... what a great night! Learned some things about kitchen/food prep as well as enjoyed the results of some delicious recipes. Chef Cher is great and we'll definitely be looking to do another adventure with her soon.

Chef Cherica was amazing!!! We did the Taste of New Orleans and it was amazing. My husband has 0 cooking experience and Chef Cherica was very patient with him and taught him skills he could carry forward. She also was very encouraging and built up him confidence in the kitchen. We had so much fun. She has a bubbly and fun personality. This was a gift so we thought it would be a one and done but after such a great experience we are signing up for more.

Chef Cher is AMAZING! My fiance and I did an at-home French cooking class. We had a blast with Cher and learned so much that we hope to use in future cooking experiences. Cher is very patient and tolerated my kindergarten knife skills and was very good about explaining what we were doing and how that affected the flavor and final product. The final meal was DELICIOUS- something you might order at a high-end restaurant. I had no idea mussels were so easy to make and the sauce we created was superb. All of the accompanying dishes were great too-- I seriously have no complaints. Cher is also just wonderful company and super fun to talk to. Can't recommend her enough! Take this class- you won't regret it!

Chef Chericia was great! She walked us through every step of our Italian night and was well prepared. You could tell she wasn’t afraid to switch things up a bit, and was very knowledgeable with all questions we asked. She was very friendly and courteous and we all talked and mingled while cooking. I have a gluten allergy and she was very accommodating, even thinking of how to switch up the desert so that I could partake! It was a great experience, our first with having a chef coming to the home and it is definitely something we would do again. Thank you to chef chericia for showing us how to prepare a meal we will definitely do again and again!

We could not have had a better experience with Cozymeal! My parents were visiting from out of town, and this was a much more exciting evening than going out to dinner. Chef Chericia was great! She was super nice, patient and had some great tips for my boyfriend and me. We hadn't ever had a lesson in basic knife skills and her lesson super helpful and we've been using those skills ever since. She was also easy to get along with and made us feel comfortable off the bat. Best of all the sushi turned out beautiful and delicious. We had so much sushi in the end and the food and entire experience made it well worth the price. I'm sure my boyfriend will remember and appreciate this wonderful birthday experience for years!!

Chef CC was amazing! She is a gifted chef and provided the best guidance in the kitchen. The food was outstanding especially the Peach Cobbler and Polenta Grits. I consider myself a decent cook but Chef CC helped to make sure my technique becomes better as well as helpful hints. She reminded us to feel your way through the kitchen while cooking. I love it!!! In addition, she adjusted the menu to remove some of the spice and other things to make sure it was enjoyable. I definitely recommend this experience and Chef CC again!

We had a wonderful meal with Chef Chericia. Her menu was absolutely delicious -- we enjoyed it very much. She packed so much flavor into the shrimp and fried green tomatoes and the biscuits and cobbler were heavenly! And she was a pleasure to cook with. She was very patient and kind with our kids, and was so helpful in providing us with tips about specific cooking methods. Plus, she had a fun personality so it made for an enjoyable evening. We can understand why she has been in high demand. We hope to be able to cook with her again!

We had a fantastic time with Chef CeCe! She was personable, kind, knowledgeable with helpful tips, and a great presence! We learned so much during our time with her and she had the right balance of guiding us through the preparation of the food while also giving us the flexibility to chat and have fun. We all left brainstorming ideas for when we will book a class with her again. We would love Chef CeCe to provide a recipe card at the end so we can replicate what we did at home.

My girlfriend and I were apprehensive about spending our date night with a stranger but it was WAY better than we ever expected. The overall cooking experience was amazing. I highly recommend Chef CC if you are considering purchasing a Cozymeal cooking class. I purchased the cooking class as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and she loved it. Chef CC is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. She is easy going and patient even if you have very little cooking experience. The food came out delicious and there was enough for leftovers the next day. Will definitely purchase another cooking class with Chef CC in the future.

Cee Cee was fantastic! I purchased "Making Pizza from Scratch" for my fiancee as a Christmas Gift. A little background, I rarely cook (I can make eggs, that is about it), however this class was both informative and fun! Cee Cee has amazing patience, to put up with my questions regarding the entire process. It was a lot of fun, the pizzas came out great, and we cannot wait to book her again for another meal. I could not have been happier with our experience, and I hope she felt the same way!

The cooking class that I participated in in DC was fantastic! It felt more like a dinner party with a professional chef preparing dinner for us. The class had a very relaxed and friendly environment and we were able to get involved in the preparation process as much as we liked. The class I attended was led by Chef Chericia, who cooked up a delicious seafood BBQ. I'd recommend these cooking classes, especially for a smallish dinner party or a date night :-)

Chef Chericia was such a delight! For two people who love to cook but don’t exactly have the most advanced skills she made the whole experience both educational and fun. She paid attention to all the details and showed us in a very step by step manner how to make everything we needed for the perfect (well in our case almost perfect) sushi rolls! For something that seemed very intimidating to prepare she made the whole evening very relaxed and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend the sushi experience with Chef Chericia! It was something fun and different than just going out for sushi, and now we even know how to make it ourselves!

Chef Chericia studied sushi for two and a half years and it shows in even the way she holds her knife. All steps are clearly communicated from how to straighten the edge of the knife to the 10 degree angle of slicing the fish. Chef Chericia has a relaxed manner that makes things seem simple and yet she is a skilled master who slices sushi rolls with precision. The fish was all super fresh and the resulting rolls were delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience the last time we brought in a chef and it might have also been Chef Chericia but this time it all fell apart somehow. My wife’s birthday with friends over for a 6:30 start. Apparently food delivery was late then several GPS issues then messaged hours after the scheduled start that she had to cancel. We were very disappointed and tried to call to help her with directions but she didn’t pick up

NO SHOW! I’ve never seen anything more unprofessional. From being asked only a week before the event if we can reschedule over changing the dinner time on us twice (including the morning of) to finally not showing up at all! It screamed better offer. The Friday before Christmas with guests who flew in from out of town, we were left standing there embarrassed without any food. I would give 0 stars, if I could.

Ghosted by chef. Had a trillion dollar CIO over for dinner and received notification from no show chef after 90 minutes delay that chef couldn't make it the night of. horrendous experience.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I booked a sushi making class with Chef Chericia over a month ago. She moved the day and time twice (which I accommodated), but then less than two hours before she was supposed to be here, she cancelled. The class was supposed to be a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday. She basically ruined the evening by cancelling so close to the scheduled time, leaving me no time to make other arrangements. I would not recommend booking with this chef if you actually want your event to happen.
