Surf and turf never tasted so exquisite as it will paired in these fresh dishes.
In this private chef experience, Chef Jarrett will prepare for you a stunning blend of seafood and land fare from along the coast of California. First, delight in mussels steamed in a tomato cream broth, then enjoy pan-seared scallops paired with sous vide steak infused with garlic butter and sided by roasted carrots topped with pistachios. Dessert features a delicate sweet cream panna cotta with berry coulis.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Jarrett is a super knowledgeable chef. He showed me how to cut an onion to demonstrate some knife skills. Explained how you can use any different sort of fish or seafood for ceviche, and the background of where the dish came from and how the acid in the citrus fruit denatures the fish and takes away the intense fishy flavour. Really friendly and funny, kept us engaged in the class!

Chef Jarrett is an outstanding and talented Chef from San Diego. Recently, I had the pleasure of booking a private event through Jarrett and the entire experience was incredible. He is very communicative and punctual which made the whole experience easy. His food and also the way he teaches is inspiring!
