Enjoy an inventive menu that merges the best of bistro dining with rustic French classics.

A Parisian celebration comes to your table in this private chef experience with Chef Alex. He'll take you on a whirlwind tour that tempts your tastebuds with a refreshing bibb lettuce salad, Parisian gnocchi gratin in cream sauce and cocoa-braised short ribs served with root vegetables. You'll also sample salmon en croute with foraged mushrooms and savor a sabayon with roasted seasonal fruit for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Chef Alex's passion for cooking was inspired by helping his German Oma in the kitchen. Years after cooking classic meals and family dishes by her side, he became a classically trained chef. His career with the best catering companies in Washington has seen him serving Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, among others. Through 10 years spent in high-end Seattle dining, Chef Alex has developed a love of teaching and sharing his unique experiences.

Communicated my feedback to cozymeal already and they were great! My boyfriend and I had a fine time but we were looking for a bit more for the price. Just a few things like general professionalism, time alone to enjoy our meal, and more hands on contributing to the meal. I’m sure they’ve taken that feedback to improve future experiences.

Alex was phenomenal and would absolutely book again!! He crafted a spectacular menu tailored to our tastes / allergies, and walked us through his entire process so we feel like we learned a lot along the way. Plating was beautiful, such a special treat. We had a great class! Made a nice date night. Alex taught us a lot, and it was really a treat to have such a complex, delicious meal made for us in our own kitchen! Appreciated the hands on experiences, like learning how to make spring rolls and fried tofu -- easier than expected! -- as well as lots of pro tips about ingredients, equipment, technique, and of course, cooking.

Our class with Alex was so awesome! He is clearly super knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which made the experience really fun and exciting. He gave us amazing tips on technique and where to find unique ingredients. The food was also OUTSTANDING and I am definitely going to attempt to make it myself again!! Thanks Alex!

Alex not only taught us great skills, but was very interactive and fun with his lesson and explanations. We had a great time learning to make the various dishes and the food was delicious! He was very accommodating with food allergies, too.

We had an amazing time! Alex did an amazing job leading us through the class. He has so many great pieces of advice and a bunch of interesting stories too! Alex was also really prepped for this class. He brought all the ingredients, plates, and pans too. My personal favorite was the risotto with the tofu- what a unique dish! I’d highly recommend this class!

The food was creative and exceptional. All 5 courses had wonderful flavors. We enjoyed the meal and there was no cleanup afterwards for us! We enjoyed the interaction with Chef Alex.

Chef Alex was amazing! Every dish was unique and he described every bit of it. We had great conversations and overall this was an enjoyable experience. Perfect way to have a date night. We hope to have him back!

Chef Alex was an incredible! He came with all the tools and experience to make this such a fun time. He is incredibly flexible with menu and you can text him about customization. He took a lot of time to teach lifelong techniques and the meal was wonderful. We absolutely will be booking again!

Chef Alex is fantastic! He has extensive high-end catering experience and has cooked for some of the most prominent people in the region. We were so impressed with him and we had a lovely time. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Seattle area looking for a wonderful culinary experience!
